What is Content Managment?
As a site administrator, your job is to present your information (content) to users as effectively as possible. In order to do this, you must have the proper tools, and those tools must have a short learning curve. Persons with no specific web design knowledge must also be able to contribute and edit content, but are only allowed to do so based on rules established by the site administrator.

The term Content Management System (CMS) refers to a software application that allows for the managing of site content in a structured way, through the establishment of rules for content presentation.  By definition, a CMS is easy to learn and easy to use, and does not require specific technical knowledge.  A CMS stands in contrast with generic "site authoring" tools such as MS FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver, which give the user free reign over all aspects of a site.

• Place content on pages using Content Objects (containers for text or images)
• Place any number of Objects on a Page
• Rearrange Objects on a Page
• Move an Object to a different Page
• Edit content within an Object using a WYSIWYG text editor.
• Turn Objects On or Off
• Create Pages
• Move and Rearrange Pages
• Rename Pages
• Turn Pages On or Off
• Set a Timer on an Object
• Manage a library of images
• Manage access to the site using the Security Manager functions
• Create and manage image slideshows
